Finding Your Feet

Filled with grand, old British charm is this feel-good film about discovering it’s never too late to start again.

When 'Lady' Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton, Pride) finds out her husband of 40 years (John Sessions, Florence Foster Jenkins) is having an affair with her best friend, she struggles to deal with ‘the shame of her predicament’ and seeks refuge with her estranged, older sister, Bif (Celia Imrie, Bridget Jones’s Baby), who lives on an innercity council estate.

The two could not be more different. Sandra is middle-class, snobbish and judgemental, and a fish out of water next to her outspoken, serial-dating, free-spirited sibling. But different is just what Sandra needs, and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to her community dance class.

In this heart-warming romantic comedy, the colourful group of defiant and energetic third-agers show Sandra that retirement is, in fact, only the beginning. Divorce might give her a whole new lease of life… and love.

Co-starring Timothy Spall (Mr. Turner, The Journey BFF17) and Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous).
